STEP 1: Identifying needs

STEP 2: Production of a prototype

Goal: Demonstrate technical practicality based on initial requirements and improve the solution.


STEP 3: Pilot project and validation

  • Prototype validation and quotation for pilot project
  • Production of the required number of samples
  • Delivery and launch of the pilot project with your teams
Goal: Small-scale real-life testing to confirm improvement potential and gather user feedback.


STEP 4: Estimating economic impact

  • Preliminary assessment of economic benefits
  • Estimated reduction in disposable consumables (cardboard, film, packaging)
  • Estimated carbon footprint reduction through reuse

STEP 5: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

NB: the prototype produced as part of this process remains the property of Loopipak. It is intended for test and validation purposes only, unless specifically agreed for mass production.

The prototype production cost covers manufacturing and initial adjustments, while the recoverable development cost covers custom design, product engineering and preparation for series production. This amount is deducted from the final order in the event of validation and production launch. It becomes a reimbursed investment in your overall project.  The minimum order quantity is defined during the development quotation.
Loopipak reserves the right to categorize the level of complexity of each project (simple, existing, or innovation), depending on technical requirements, necessary adaptations and the level of development required.

The prototype is intended for test purposes and remains the property of Loopipak, unless otherwise agreed in the case of mass production. It cannot be reused as final packaging without final validation.

This cost covers custom design, product engineering and preparation for series production. It is deducted from the final order in the event of launch, making it an investment repaid.

Loopipak evaluates each project according to several criteria: level of adaptation, technical requirements, innovation, or reproduction of existing packaging. This enables us to offer an appropriate price and efficient customized development.

At Loopipak, every package can be tailored to your logistical needs. Depending on your needs, we offer several customization options:

  • Transparent window for inserting a label or shipping document
  • Area for sticking labels (e.g. barcode, destination, deposit)
  • Carrying handles for easy handling
  • Additional sliders to reinforce the zipper or facilitate opening
  • Printing on packaging (logo, message, instructions for use, return instructions, etc.)
  • Stickers with pictograms or information specific to use
  • Integrated storage pocket for documents or shipping accessories

Production times generally vary between 2 and 8 weeks, depending on several factors:

  • The complexity of the project (shapes, locking systems, technical adaptations)
  • The number of packages to be produced
  • Availability of reused materials
